About the job
Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Shenzhen within the Food & Beverage Division in Shenzhen, The Bay by Chef Fei Captain - Service is responsible for providing service that goes beyond the guests’ expectations by anticipating their needs and performing service-based standards set forth by management, handling special requests and maintaining a clean and organized workstation. The Bay by Chef Fei Captain - Service reports to The Bay by Chef Fei Supervisor - Service.
As The Bay by Chef Fei Captain - Service, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- To consistently achieve the service and product delivery standards with a high degree of client care and service throughout the dining experience
- Assist guests courteously and efficiently
- Communicate with kitchen for any guests’ special request and dietary requirements
- Handle guest complaints promptly, ensuring that any resolved / unresolved incidents are reported to the manager in a timely manner
- Make sure that all products served are accounted for on the final bill before presenting it
- To wish each and every guest a warm farewell and thank them for coming
- Following the posted opening and closing duties and side work sheet
As The Bay by Chef Fei Captain - Service, we expect from you:
- Minimum 1 year’s relevant working experience in similar capacity
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills
