We are seeking an experienced Supplier Quality role to apply and implement our supplier quality assurance policy. This role involves managing non-conformity reports and supplier performance, and ensuring the compliance of delivered products and parts.
Responsibilities:
- Promoting the Alstom Code of Ethics and adhering to the highest standards of ethical conduct;
- Considering the application of environmental and health and safety standards;
- Responsible for Non-Conformity day-to day management, inform supplier of Non-Conformity Report (NCR) and replace defective parts;
- Animate Non-Conformities Report treatment by setting-up relevant actions plan to reach Non-Conformity Report (NCR) target;
- Organize the retrofit to be performed by the supplier and decide quality wall if necessary;
- Manage suppliers to enforce relevant corrective and preventive action plan;
- Audit supplier process to check the effectiveness of the corrective and preventive action plan and ensure control plan sustainability (regular follow-up on main suppliers);
- Prepare and monitor supplier Quality review at site level to tackle the Top issues;
- Contribute to Alstom Production System (APSYS) Supplier Project Quality Development roadmap.
- Accurately record NCR and results of the inspections and testing, so as to launch the expected reaction on supplier side and Alstom teams(QRQC, Quality wall…);
- Control the calibration of critical equipment and instrumentation used;
- Assist in the writing and updating inspection procedures, protocol and checklists;
- Evaluate problems and make initial recommendations for possible corrective action;
- Escalade the anomalies detected during the production & ensure effective treatment (QRQC tool);
- Responsible for knowledge management and internal sharing.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree with major in Mechanical engineering, or equivalent;
- More than 5 years’ Supplier Quality Project experience in manufacturing industry;
- Good English skill both in written and spoken.
- Experience in managing Quality tools.
- Knowledge of the railway industry is preferred.
