JOB GOAL/PURPOSE
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to oversee the operations of the ISB Fitness and Tennis Center. The ideal candidate will have a passion for health, fitness, and tennis, along with strong managerial and leadership skills to drive the success of our center..
DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Operations Management:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the ISB Fitness and Tennis Center.
- Ensure the facility is clean, safe, and well-maintained at all times.
- Manage staff and external vendor schedules, assignments, and training programs.
2. Customer Service:
- Provide excellent customer service to ISB community members and guests.
- Address community inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance the overall community experience.
3. Marketing:
- Collaborate with Communications to promote center activities, programs, and events.
- Identify opportunities for partnerships and sponsorships to increase visibility.
4. Program Development:
- Plan, organize, and coordinate fitness classes, tennis and golf programs, and events.
- Evaluate existing programs and introduce new offerings to meet current needs.
- Monitor program effectiveness and make adjustments as needed to achieve goals.
5. Staff Management:
- Recruit, hire, train, and supervise staff members, as needed.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback and support.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment - teamwork and professional growth.
- Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the fitness or sports industry.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and fitness center management software.
- CPR/AED certification and knowledge of first aid procedures (preferred).
- Passion for health, fitness, and tennis.
