Hardware Requirements: 1 Formal analysis of the customer requirements and standards that apply to the project. Be able to define the requirement for innovation project; 2 Identify the difficulties to meet the customer or innovation requirements in cost, timing and quality. 3 Maintain the hardware requirement in DOORS." Hardware Design: 1 Propose a choice of, and participate in, technical solutions, in collaboration with System/ Software/ Mechanical Engineer and Hardware Line Manager." 2 Participate in hardware system design of product with mechanical engineer. 3 Optimize the hardware design with software engineer and prepare the HSI. 4 Capture the circuit schematic and pilot the board layout and routing. 5 Perform design analysis (including Spice simulations). 6 Write Technical Notes and Test Reports. Hardware Design: 1 Create and maintain a complete design document set for the project. 2 Initiate design FMEA, Reliability Study, Failure Tree Analysis, Safety Hazard Analysis. 3 Pilot component FMEA 4 Write Technical Specifications. 5 Write a Purchasing Technical Specification for new components. 6 Others required in Hardware development process. Hardware Verification : 1 Verify the design concept. 2 Write test plan & perform tests. 3 Analyze test results and write test reports. 4 Support vehicle integration tests. 5 Create 8D Reports if needed. Hardware Production : 1 Participate in the industrialization of the product. 2 Make and verify choices in product design in compliance with process capability. 3 Support Industrialization, Manufacturing and Purchasing team regarding hardware. 4 Select component in order to reduce component multiplicity in project and with other projects. Others Support prototypes as required by the Design Leader.
