Sr. Manager, Category Brand Marketing - Train

POSITION SUMMARY

The mission of Category Marketing Sr. Manager in Under Armour is to develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies for our train category. He or She will plan, manage and execution of category marketing activations that will drive category growth, enhance brand awareness and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement strategic marketing plans for the train category.

  • Responsible for understanding consumer insights to create the integrated marketing plan for key product launches for training, collaborate with internal and external partners to execute the marketing plan.

  • Direct and manage project development including all administrative tasks. The request will include but not limited to scheduling venues, budgets, contracts, post event analysis data collection, product management, agency/vendor management, etc.

  • Work with other marketing teams to develop and implement an always-on growth plan for category marketing to meet best practice expectations.

  • Direct and manage agencies to reflect a true strategic partnership and ensure that all plans are executed on brand, on strategy, on plan and on budget.

QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITES)

  • Knowledgeable about China sports and international sports, especially deep insight within the train category.

  • An interest and desire to participate in and learn about sports i.e. a sports enthusiast

  • Experiences, resources working with gyms, trainers and other training related IPs is a plus.

  • Strong in both strategic thinking as well as project management skills, especially managing marketing campaigns.

  • Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, partners and other departments

  • Can conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem solving capabilities

QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITES)

  • Travel required, domestic and international.

  • Native Chinese speaker, fluent in English speaking and writing
