- 1.Collaborate with NPD Sourcing Engineers and Operations team on the new products development for the plant necessities:
- Maintain PIR/MM/SL in SAP.
- Work closely with NPD Sourcing Engineers to ensure all KPI's are documented per program requirements.
- Utilize Molex/Koch's tools, processes and platforms to document, track and store critical projects information.
- Demonstrate flexibility by undertaking additional duties assigned by leadership as needed.
- 2 .NPI Purchasing Activities:
- Send RFQs for samples and prototypes.
- Review, validate and accept quotes from suppliers.
- Work with internal contacts to get funding approvals.
- Release Purchase Orders for samples, prototypes and toolings.
- Track material arrivals and communicate status.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- University/ College degree in engineering discipline
- Above 3 years of sourcing, purchasing or supply management related.
- Familiarity with electronics/mechanical components, sensitive of cost.
- International sourcing experience required.
- Knowledgeable to use SAP/ERP, Microsoft Power Point, Excel, Word and Project management.
- Good oral English.
