We are looking for an AP Social Studies & Philosophy Teacher for an international school in Wuhan. This is a full-time position starting in August 2025.

A well-established K-12 private school located in Tianjin, China, offering a full range of education from kindergarten through high school across multiple campuses. The school features a variety of international programs, including Cambridge A-Level, Canadian OSSD, and U.S. AP courses. It serves both domestic and international students and is supported by a team of over 740 educators, including more than 50 experienced expatriate teachers.
Job responsibilities
- Teach the subjects of Social Studies and Philosophy to high school students utilizing AP framework and ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience
- Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
- Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum
- Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
- Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
- Develop supportive and safe learning environments
Requirements
- Bachelor degree or above in the related subject
- Teaching certificate
- Two or more years teaching experience in the subject
- Excellent communications skills

- Monthly salary is 27,000 to 40,000 RMB commensurate with experience and qualifications
