Key Areas of Responsibility and Tasks
Within the Customer Renewals Center (CRC), our people and our culture are central to our success! Cloud Renewals Executives (CREs) demonstrate skills and knowledge in renewal strategy, deal architecture, customer negotiation and internal navigation of commercial and legal teams.
We are seeking a high-performing and collaborative Senior Cloud Renewal Executive – MCCA Specialist to lead and champion SAP’s contractual transformation toward the Master Cloud Customer Agreement (MCCA) across the region. In this strategic role, you will manage a portfolio of cloud renewals while serving as the regional coordinator for MCCA quoting and booking-related topics, driving adoption, resolving escalations, and mentoring your peers. This position is ideal for an experienced renewal professional who combines commercial acumen, process discipline, and customer focus to influence outcomes and scale best practices in contractual standardization.

Key Responsibilities:

Renewal Management & MCCA Transition
  • Lead renewal cycles for mid to large cloud accounts with an emphasis on driving the transition to MCCA.
  • Position MCCA as the standard framework for cloud renewals by articulating its value, flexibility, and alignment with SAP’s long-term cloud strategy.
  • Serve as the point of escalation for customers requiring clarity or exception handling during the
MCCA transition.

Regional MCCA Coordination
  • Act as the go-to expert for regional quoting and booking challenges related to MCCA, collaborating closely with Legal, Commercial Operations, Sales, and Deal Support teams.
  • Liaise with Global and Regional MCCA Program Leads to ensure alignment on policies, enablement materials, and system readiness.
  • Consolidate and communicate regional trends, blockers, and feedback to influence process improvements and policy refinements.process improvements and policy refinements.

Support & Enablement
  • Provide support to junior Cloud Renewal Executives (CREs) across the region on MCCA related topics.
  • Contribute to the development of internal playbooks, checklists, and knowledge articles specific to MCCA renewals.

Process Excellence & Governance
  • Serve as a Process Expert for the MCCA renewal framework — guiding teams in applying compliant, scalable, and efficient workflows.
  • Partner with the Global Process Office (GPO) and Commercial teams to support the evolution of quoting tools, process automation, and exception handling frameworks.
  • Monitor compliance and MCCA adoption KPIs, and drive corrective actions where needed to improve data quality and process health.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum 4-6 years of experience in cloud renewals, deal operations, commercial management or contract lifecycle management.
  • Strong working knowledge of SaaS business models, subscription renewals and Enterprise sales cycles.

Education
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or related field; advanced degree a plus.
  • Equivalent comparable experience.

Skills and Competencies
  • Demonstrated expertise in contract structures and negotiation principles; MCCA or similar framework experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to handle escalations, work cross0functionally, and deliver outcomes in a matrixed environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to process integrity and data accuracy.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g. Harmony Quote, Gainsights etc.) and familiarity with renewal management platforms.
  • Language proficiency: English and Chinese, Japanese and Korean (added advantage).
