Position Summary
EM team is a very language oriented team involved in searching information about companies in local languages in various sources and updating it in English. Among most frequent duties there are crafting companies in the database, checking their legal and official status, categorizing them and updating all relevant information within specific timeframes.
OBJECTIVES
- To provide quality assurance to a team of 5 – 10 employees
- To continue to provide authoritative data maintenance where required
- To ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all company
- To supply to the success of the business by leading all aspects of the maintenance of accurate data on a portfolio of companies
- To assist in projects with emphasis on data content
- To provide high-level, timely query support (internal and external)
- To collaborate directly with other teams on regular basis to ensure constant development and information flow in the team
PRE-REQUISITES
- Expert knowledge of OA database, process and workflow
- Proficient in JP/KR language is a plus
- Strong dedication to longevity within the role
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review and edit all data completed by the team in terms of quality, production, fact, completeness and methodology
- Ensure effective training to achieve high professional operational standards
- Support staff to complete high quality data in a timely manner
- Collate statistical information to assist operational management
- Assist where required in data projects and testing
- Perform high quality file maintenance when vital
- Demonstrate the tools vital to perform the analysts’ duties in an effective and efficient way.
- Develop alternative training techniques to improve database quality and consistencies.
- Cultivate a learning and positive work environment.
- Work will have busier periods and at these times the Senior Market Analyst will be encouraged to work extended hours to keep up with the increase in reports completed by the analysts.
- To provide need based assistance to Team Leaders
EDUCATION
- Relevant or equivalent Bachelor’s Degree (e.g. Finance, Economics, Management, English or Journalism)
- Good knowledge of LSEG products and applications
- Knowledge of competitor offerings a plus
COMPETENCIES
- Prior supervisory experience a plus
- Validated attention to detail
- Professional demeanour
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work optimally
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Ability to tackle problems and make command decisions when vitaly
- Firm grasp of English language
- Second language to support local requirements an advantage
PC SKILLS
- Good knowledge of SQL, VBA
- Ability to use in-house database
- Communicate by email in a coherent and professional manner
