As the successful candidate, you will apply your specialized knowledge and expertise in physical chemistry, colloidal science, and formulation science to innovate and develop liquid delivery systems for fragrance, flavor, and nutrient applications, driving advancements in delivery technologies and providing integrated solutions for our clients.

Your Key Responsibilities
- Participate in global and cross-functional innovation projects, build strong relationships with internal and external partners.
- Conceive and execute research programs for assigned projects, be responsible for documentation, data analysis, and result reporting.
- Develop novel liquid delivery systems and formulations with improved performance for health, beauty and care applications and products.
- Monitor the latest advancements in science and technology, integrate relevant findings into in-house projects to enhance outcomes and strengthen intellectual property in collaboration with internal partners.
- Train new team members and manage the research team in full compliance with regulations concerning safety, health and environment.
- Deliver scientific and technical support at customer events and collaborate with business partners to address and resolve technical challenges.

You Bring
- PhD in Colloidal Science, Physical Chemistry, Polymer Science, Food Science or a related field (or equivalent qualification), ideally with industry experience.
- Extensive knowledge and expertise in soft matter physics and formulation of liquid product formats. Familiarity with theoretical tools and models used in formulation for emulsions or colloidal systems is essential.
- Solid laboratory experimental skills and hands-on experience of a variety of analytical techniques (e.g. light scattering, rheology, tensiometry).
- Proficiency in spoken and written English is mandatory
