About this Position

This position is responsible for delivering profitable growth of APP Metal Packaging Greater China in Global and/or Regional Key Accounts (GKA and/or RKA) by managing the sales team and coordinating multi-functional resources across different countries.
- This position is to provide leadership, insight, guidance, and coordination to the sales team to achieve NES and profitability targets.

This position is responsible for the overall revenue & profitable growth and strategic development of GKA/RKAs in APP Metal Packaging Greater China. The position leads and supports all customer connections from executive levels to operational levels throughout all regions, will oversee all activities within the key accounts from shorter-term tactical requirements to 3-5 years strategic growth initiatives.
The role will lead the team to work closely with the Application Engineering Team, the Marketing Strategy Team, and the PD to shape and build the customer portfolios with a robust roadmap in line with the APP Metal Packaging business strategy. -
What you´ll do
- Driving sales and EBIT, accountable for achieving top line and bottom line of metal packaging Greater China key accounts.

Define and execute key account-specific strategy, identifies business opportunities, steering and lead team to achieve business growth for agreed accounts and defined objectives.

Develops and maintains sustainable and long-term relationships with key accounts, key executives and value chain stakeholders implements new customer acquisition plans, defines account-specific negotiates contracts, ensures fulfillment of commitments and implementation of commercial excellence.

Develops and maintains sustainable and long-term relationships with key accounts, key executives and sponsors.

Define SMART goals for growth and relationship elements for each key account to create a clear “from-to” vision.

Execute the plan and commercialize the sales opportunity funnel. Demonstrate a strong passion and capability to drive new growth in challenge business environment.

Manage, translates customer’s strategy and priorities into a joint roadmap and actions.

Driving culture, creating and shaping key account management team, innovation, collaborative and inspiring working culture.
- Lead the team to collaborate, coordinate with internal stakeholders (AE, MSM, PD etc.) & external stakeholders to identify, develop, manage and materialize opportunities.
What makes you a good fit
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in Metal Science, Materials Science, Polymer Science or Chemistry related is required (master degree or MBA preferred).

At least 15 years’ experience in sales, business development, key account management or marketing in relevant industries, with at least 5 years in people management and leadership role.

Familiar with metal packaging (aluminum, steel), metal or materials surface treatment, or relevant industries preferred.
- Proven track record of transformation team and deliver result.

Solid track record on technical sales, business development, key account management in relevant industries.

Rich experience in commercial (sales, BD, KAM) team management.

Strong leadership skills: drive result, customer focus, convinces and develop individual and teams.

Adaptability and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Strong strategic and analytical thinking, utilizing resources.

Entrepreneurial spirit, hands-on leader, agile and open-minded.

Excellent communication and presentation skill.
- Fluent in English (min. CET6) and Mandarin preferred.
