About the job
Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Shenzhen within the Rooms Division in Shenzhen, the Room Attendant is responsible for the cleanliness and supply of guest rooms including the mini bar items and the comfort of all hotel guests as set by the procedures and standards. The Room Attendant reports to the Floor Supervisor.
As Room Attendant, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Pick up work assignments from the Housekeeping Department and review any questions. Sign in and out on the attendant sheet and the floor keys. Report on assigned areas with required keys, equipment, supplies, etc.
- Clean guest rooms following the established procedures and standards
- Report any damage or maintenance to Housekeeping
- Report any items found in check-out rooms to Housekeeping office
- Response to guest requests in a timely manner
- Maintain the cleanliness of work area and all the cleaning equipment
As Room Attendant, we expect from you:
- Minimum 1 year’s relevant working experience in similar capacity
- Passionate, adaptable and flexible
- Excellent communication and organization skills
