Mandarin Oriental, Sanya is the first venture of Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group in China, extending the Group’ luxury and lifestyle retreat concept designed for seasoned international travellers in search of tranquillity and the utmost in relaxation and luxury.

The resort enjoys the tranquillity of a 1.2 km nationally protected coral bay and is spread out over 12 hectares of lush tropical bloom overlooking the warm, soothing waters of the South China Sea.

About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Sanya within the Reservation Department, the Reservations Agent is responsible for handling guest reservations with efficiency, accuracy, and a high level of personalised service in line with Mandarin Oriental standards. This role plays a key part in creating a positive first impression for guests and supporting the hotel’s commercial objectives by ensuring optimal occupancy and correct rate application. The Reservations Agent will deal with bookings across multiple channels and works closely with the Revenue, Sales, and Front Office teams to provide seamless pre-arrival service. This position reports to the Reservations Manager.

As Reservation Agent, you will be responsible for the following duties:

Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries, requests, and booking confirmations via phone, email, and online channels.

Accurately process individual and group reservations in the hotel’s reservation system, ensuring all details are correct.
在酒店预订系统中准确处理个人和团体预订，确保所有细节都是正确的。
Ensure that all bookings are aligned with rate strategies, availability, and company policies.
确保所有预订都符合价格策略、可用性和集团政策。
Assist in handling special requests, VIP reservations, and pre-arrival communications with attention to detail and service excellence.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of room types, packages, seasonal promotions, and hotel services.
保持对房间类型、套餐、季节性促销和酒店服务的最新了解。
Support the Reservations team with daily administrative tasks, such as updating rooming lists, managing waitlists, and confirming deposits.
协助预订团队完成日常行政任务，如更新房间名单、管理候补名单和确认押金。
Communicate effectively with Sales, Front Office, Events, and other departments to ensure accurate information flow.

Monitor and maintain accurate records for OTA, wholesaler, corporate, and direct bookings, including rate codes and commission handling.

Help identify and correct reservation discrepancies, duplicate bookings, or booking errors.

Uphold Mandarin Oriental’s brand standards and tone of communication at every stage of the reservation process.

Perform any other reasonable duties as assigned by the Reservations Manager or Director of Revenue Management.

As Reservation Agent,, we expect from you:

作为预订员，我们需要您具备：
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a reservations or front office role within a luxury hotel environment.
在奢华酒店行业中至少有1-2年的预订或前台工作经验。
Familiarity with reservation systems such as Opera, SynXis, or other CRS/PMS tools.
熟悉Opera、SynXis或其他CRS/PMS工具等预订系统。
Excellent communication skills in English and mandarin (required); Russian language is a plus.
良好的英语和普通话沟通能力（必需）；会俄语者更佳。
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and customer service mindset.
注重细节、拥有组织能力和客户服务思维。
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of OTA channels, GDS systems, and distribution platforms is an advantage.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook).

Passion for hospitality, guest service, and high standards of presentation.

Degree or diploma in Hospitality, Tourism, or a related field preferred.
