Purchasing & Planning Specialist
Responsibilities:
- Compile monthly product inventory statistics and make replenishment plans based on demand and consumption;
- Responsible for issuing purchase orders to suppliers and communicating delivery instructions and tracking of goods;
- Follow up on purchase orders, including handling issues related to raw materials, production, and delivery schedules;
- Prepare necessary documents for imported goods and contact suppliers to resolve existing problems;
- Issue claims to suppliers, logistics, or insurance based on the arrival of goods and customer quality complaints;
- Responsible for maintaining supplier files, organizing and archiving import documents, and applying for payments;
- Maintain communication with customer service, sales, and suppliers to stay informed about internal and external information to better control procurement/inventory costs;
- Other procurement tasks, including cost accounting, inquiries, and confirming delivery dates;
- Complete other tasks assigned by superiors.
Requirements:
- College degree or above, majoring in logistics, trade, or related fields;
- Over three years of experience in procurement and planning, with a preference for those who can independently handle import sea or air freight;
- Familiarity with import markets, with a preference for European and American markets;
- Clear logical thinking ability to formulate procurement plans and suggestions based on supply and demand;
- Good communication skills, strong sense of responsibility, proactive work attitude, and meticulous work;
- Able to rationally, actively, and proactively handle daily affairs through reasonable communication and coordination;
- Proficient in operating Office software, familiarity with JDE system is preferred.
