About The Role: Driving Strategic Procurement Effectiveness
2. Actively participate in purchasing projects for cost-saving opportunities.
3. Develop raw material suppliers and identify new sourcing possibilities.
4. Support the development of Nutreco’s Corporate Procurement organization through project involvement.
5. Implement procurement and risk policies to ensure compliant and responsible purchasing.
6. Analyze vendor proposals, negotiate contracts, and provide recommendations to Purchasing Manager (PM).
7. Coordinate procurement requirements with supply chain teams, monitor demand changes, optimize inventory turnover.
8. Practice efficient stock management and reduce lead times.
9. Maintain accurate master planning data in business systems.
10. Create Purchase Orders (POs), issue purchase requests, manage Procurement Agreements (PAs), and handle vendor contracts.
11. Manage sourcing and customs clearance for imported raw materials.
12. Forecast raw material cost trends.
13. Troubleshoot supply bottlenecks and inventory delays.
14. Support PM in resolving raw material quality issues.
15. Conduct market scanning, quotation comparison, cost analysis, negotiations, and supplier selection.
16. Define inventory strategies to ensure timely material flow.
17. Propose cost-saving initiatives (make-or-buy analysis, alternative sourcing, vendor evaluation).
18. Manage suppliers (approvals, evaluations, audits, relationship maintenance).
19. Oversee indirect procurement (policy maintenance, bidding activities).

Skills and Expertise
2. Technical knowledge of commodity ingredients (e.g., Feed Grade Soybean Meal, Fish Meal).
3. Solid supply management expertise with 2-3 years' purchasing experience.
4. Understanding of customer requirements and inventory management impact.
5. Strong English communication skills (verbal and written).
