- Works cross functionally with Product/Supplier Quality, and R&D on corrective actions to solve production yield and field quality issues.
- Utilize progressive methodology such as Root Cause Analysis, 8D, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis to eliminate variation and generate action driven analytics.
- Champion continuous improvement and cost reduction activities in manufacturing through Lean/Six-Sigma methodology
- Conduct gauge Research and Resolution, and other process capability studies to analyze new/existing manufacturing processes
- Deliver clear definition of product quality requirements for new product development efforts
- Drive failure investigation on nonconforming material and/or finished products, especially in the areas of optomechanical systems and electronic components.
- Support vendor related investigations.
