Position Justification:
In order to drive efficient back-office operations, TE Connectivity has established insourced regional shared service centers (*) to support centralized processing of selected procurement functions such as PR/PO processing, compliance checks, supplier set-up/change requests, procurement helpdesk, invoice price issues resolutions, etc.
The China Procurement Team Leader will ensure stabilization since Insourcing of activities was made. He/she will also take part in the future selection process of all resources required for the proper working of the TE team in Suzhou, China.

Position Overview:
This position will report to the PSC Global Process Owner and lead the China PSC team in the planning, management and delivery of in scope procurement processes.
- Experience in a procurement shared service center supporting multiple countries / business units,
- Experience working for a Manufacturing company,
- Deep understanding of end-to-end S2P processes and associated technology platforms,
- Excellent analytical skills. Ability to identify and resolve problems,
- Well-developed management and leadership skills,
- Ability to work in culturally diverse teams with many levels of personnel and matrix structure.
- Participate and drive knowledge process stabilization activities for the locations in-scope,
- Manage Procurement team. Ensure quality and efficiency of work produced. Hold regular meetings, coach and mentor team, recognize key employees,
- Be a Subject Matter Expert for Indirect Procurement related topics,
- Support stabilization of Indirect Procurement processes from centralized APAC locations to Suzhou,
- Ensure proper processing of PR/PO’s. Maintain communication with vendors and stakeholders,
- Ensure compliance with audit, tax and other requirements of the local markets or the TE company,
- Coordinate all necessary procurement activities and reporting,
- Diligently keep track of Team workload, throughput and any backlog,
- Take corrective action to ensure smooth and timely processing of all requests,
- Coordinate with local BU owners, Function representatives or other Procurement team members to identify and address any unresolved issues in a timely manner,
- Develop and maintain scorecards and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to manage the performance of the department as per Global Governance Model,
- Ensure robust compliance environment with applicable policies, procedures and processes,
- Ensure fulfillment of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level agreements (SLAs), continuously improving on performance benchmarks,
- Build strong relationship with key stakeholders,
- Coordinate team meetings and ensure constant optimum communication within the team.
Qualifications
- Strong SME Experience in Indirect Procurement (7+ years)
- Previous team leader or team management experience in shared service environment
- International exposure
- Advanced SAP PR2, S/4
- Excellent English language skills in speech and writing + Chinese
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Diversified Industrial Products/Manufacturing industry experience preferred
- Command of other languages is welcome
