About Rechargeable Battery Materials
We are all on the move. Umicore’s rechargeable battery materials give people autonomy and connectivity. We are a pioneer in battery materials that give added range and performance to electric vehicles. Our materials also ensure longer battery life for portable electronics. To enable our customers to produce even better performing batteries we cannot stand still. We need to find new ways to do things, discover new solutions and develop new ideas. What you will be doing
- Monitor continuously and assure process stability & product quality
- Take in charge line/raw material qualification in mass production.
- Support new process/product industrialization. Execute MPTR.
- Take in charge of process/product issue investigation and provide solution
- Reporting about test results, process/product quality monitoring, problem solving, etc
- 4M change of continue improvement in mass production process
- To finish the other work assigned by the superior in time
Who we are looking for
- Bachelor degree with more than 3 years working experience in chemical or materials engineering ，knowledge of Word, Excel, Power point and MS-Projects.
- Basic knowledge in statistics. Sampling theory and use of statistical software is a plus
- Experience with furnaces or powder production would be a great plus
- A six sigma green belt or experience in six sigma projects is an advantage.
- Knowledge of the process equipment and its impact on the product quality
- Knowledge of the products followed (all chemical and physical parameters) and how to control them by tuning the process)
- Good English reading and writing skills
