Supervise and validate engineering studies for hull marine systems: ballast, bilge, HVAC marine, cargo pumps, winches, cranes, offloading systems, auxiliary generators, etc.
- Review and approve technical documentation, engineering drawings, and workshop plans.
- Monitor construction and integration of marine systems at the shipyard in China.
- Coordinate with vendors for selection, procurement, FAT, deliveries, and installation.
- Provide technical support for commissioning, repair, and life-extension activities of hull systems.
- Contribute to spare parts strategy and schedule optimization.
- Prepare and participate in project technical reviews and decision-making meetings.
- Support compliance with FPSO classification and regulatory requirements.
- Report regularly to the FPSO Engineering Manager and escalate critical issues.
- Actively participate in yard inspections and vendor site visits.
- Engineering degree in mechanical, marine, or naval architecture (or equivalent).
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in a similar role within Oil & Gas offshore, shipbuilding, or FPSO projects.
- Strong expertise in hull marine systems and their interfaces.
- Good knowledge of classification society rules and marine regulations.
- Proven ability in technical supervision, contractor/vendor management, and multi-discipline coordination.
- Fluent English is mandatory; Mandarin proficiency is an advantage.
