Job Description:
Key Job Accountabilities:
- Handle monthly payroll process, including the validation of payroll input & output, report reconciliation & finalization, statutory and non-statutory remittance & reporting, GL reporting, preparing for documents to comply with internal & external audit requirements.
- Respond to employee queries including TEP and Time management. Help with ad-hoc tasks including report delivery, User Acceptance Test (UAT) testing, severance payment calculation, support payroll projects and respond to queries from HRBP and accounting/controllership.
- Work with internal team to validate Social insurance data, fix system issue, and proceed with change requests, monitor vendor service delivery and budget planning.
- Identify and share internal best practices and keep abreast of trends in Payroll/HRIS development to improve the efficiency of internal workflow and processes.
- Control payroll process, flag potential risks, and propose corrective action plans where necessary.
Professional and technical competencies:
- Good skill of Oral and written English
- 5+ years’ experience in Taiwan & China Payroll process
- Good knowledge of payroll process is a must.
- Experience in cloud HR solutions (SAP, workday/time management, i.e. ESS, eTime) will be a plus.
- Exposure in large scale HRIS application development /integration will be an advantage
- Analytical and strong problem-solving skill
