Job Purpose:

The APAC Onboarding Manager role offers a unique opportunity to lead the client experience for a dynamic and globally recognized organization, acting as the key coordinator for onboarding new clients across the APAC region. This is a high-impact role that combines project management, client engagement, and cross-functional coordination.


You will own the end-to-end onboarding journey, ensuring seamless setup, managing Statements of Work (SOWs) and Master Service Agreements (MSAs), and navigating country-specific contract practices throughout Asia. Fluent in both written and spoken English and Chinese is essential, as you will work closely with local and global teams to help ensure client expectations are met from day one.

The role suits someone who is independent, highly organized, and able to collaborate well with global teams.

Job Overview:

Key Responsibilities


  • Client Onboarding & SOW Management
  • Own the end-to-end onboarding process for clients based in Asia.
    • Manage Statements of Work (SOW) and Master Service Agreements (MSA), including Chinese translation and coordination of other language translations as needed.
    • Understand different contract practices by country in APAC.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination
    • Act as a bridge between Operations and Sales teams.
    • Proactively identify and escalate issues during onboarding.
    • Work with Operations to understand information needed in client-facing discussions.
  • Communication & Documentation
    • Provide regular updates to internal stakeholders.
    • Ensure clear and timely communication with clients and internal teams.
  • Team Support
    • Collaborate with global team members to document, create, and improve onboarding processes.
    • Serve as a backup to other onboarding team members when they are out of office.


Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience with Patents or other Intellectual Property.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and competing priorities.
  • Familiar with client services processes and contract coordination.
  • Experience as a Client Success Manager, in Onboarding, or in Project Management.
  • Independent and self-driven.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teams across the globe.
  • Customer service oriented.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset, with the ability and drive to research and resolve issues independently.
