Bellroy is on a mission to build a meaningful presence in China and we’re just getting started. Over the past four years, we’ve shifted from cross-border selling to a fully localised operation. With growing campaign complexity, ambitious sales targets and a dynamic ecommerce landscape, we’re looking for a Digital Marketing Executive to help bring Bellroy’s voice to life across China’s digital platforms.
You’ll report to our China Marketing Lead and work closely with our ecomm, brand and global teams to plan, create and execute content that resonates. From managing influencer seeding to building Xiaohongshu calendars to briefing livestream copy, you’ll be deep in the creative and executional engine room of Bellroy China.
We’ll trust you to bring cultural curiosity, excellent organisation and creative thinking. You’ll help us navigate the fast-moving world of Chinese digital marketing and in return, we’ll offer space to grow your skills, contribute meaningfully, and work alongside a capable team that values both rigour and joy.If you want to build something meaningful, not just tick off task - this could be your next role.
YOU COULD BE THE ONE IF YOU …
- Have 2–4 years experience in digital marketing, content production or social media operations (agency or in-house welcome)
- Know your way around platforms like Xiaohongshu, Weibo and Douyin — and enjoy tracking what’s trending
- Are comfortable juggling content calendars, KOL briefings, post timings, and asset reviews
- Comfortable writing in both Chinese and English, turning global ideas into local stories. You can also create visuals and edit short videos when needed.
- Have worked with influencers/KOLs — whether seeding product, reviewing scripts, or tracking content performance
- Thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment where you can take initiative and make things happen
- Have a strong design sensibility and hands-on skills, with a passion for storytelling and impact— ready to help grow a global brand in a local market.
We’d be especially excited if you also...
- Have worked with or within DTC fashion, lifestyle or consumer brands
- Understand campaign cycles and major dates like 618, Double 11 or CNY
- Bring a can-do attitude and like balancing detail and creativity
- Have examples of content work you’ve helped shape (even behind the scenes)

- Scheduled and published Xiaohongshu posts to support our capsule launch
- Briefed an influencer and shipped product with clear usage guidelines
- Partnered with the ecommerce team to prepare livestream captions and on-screen copy
- Analyzed KOL campaign results and highlighted what was working (and what wasn’t)
- Adapted global Instagram content for Chinese social platforms
- Contributed to a brainstorm on making the next product drop more interactive
- Reviewed and refined PDP copy to ensure it was sharp, accurate, and platform-ready
LOCATION & HOURS
This is a full-time role based in Shanghai, with hybrid flexibility. Some collaboration with our global team (Australia HQ + others).
