Job summary:
The Operations Finance Manager is responsible for supporting the Operations team across Planning, Sourcing, Manufacturing, Logistics and distribution center for designated business unit. As the trusted business partner to the CSEA ISC leader/Sourcing Leader and Operations team, lead operations financial strategy, capital planning, continuous improvement/productivity tracking, and functional planning & forecasting for the end-to-end supply chain. Working with operations leadership, they develop standard operating procedures and controls for the function to ensure system integrity, efficiency, and effectiveness. Lead on-site Finance analyst who together drive to achieve financial plans and targets.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Serve as financial business partner to the Operations team to include Planning, Sourcing, Manufacturing and Logistics.
- Play a key role within the Finance leadership team and contribute to its growth & development, focusing on the people, processes, and tools necessary to assist to build a world-class Finance organization with a culture of belonging and continuous professional development.
- Own operating expense planning & forecasting for the Operations team.
- Support financial analysis and drive continuous improvement/productivity in reporting for Operations Performance Reviews and functionally for Enterprise Performance Reviews, Strategic & Annual Operating Plans, and the ongoing Forecasting and Sales & Operations Planning processes.
- Assist to manage Capital (CapEx) planning, forecasting, project tracking, analysis, and reporting. Provide business case support, financial modeling, and ROI analysis for new capital investments.
- Provide financial support for operational financial performance improvement opportunities, contracting processes, COGS & headcount management, and other ad hoc operational analysis.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal constituents and external partners to provide excellent communication, planning, consulting, and expertise.
- Work cross functionally to create and implement financial plans with the leadership teams to identify opportunities for improvement and potential areas of risk.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- 7 years of relevant finance experience in the manufacturing environment including 4 years of experience with managerial experience.
- Exposure and expertise across manufacturing P&L with experience to include cost accounting of materials, labor & overhead, transportation & distribution network analysis, direct and indirect procurement, developing insights into variances, performance improvement, process transformation, and change management.
- Strong financial, analytical, and research skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as cross functionally.
- Ability to work under time constraints and deadlines, bring a positive attitude to work.
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
- Experience with SAP, OneStream and Power BI would be an asset.
