JOB PURPOSE:
This position is responsible for materials imports/exports, transportation, packaging, planning and distribution to meet operating requirements for materials and products, and quick response to customer requirements in the meanwhile.
JOB DUTIES:
Generate transportation plan for materials imports/exports, and coordinate with the third party logistics to implement the plan appropriately and take care of the transportation status tracking as well as payment afterwards.
Responsible for third party logistics’ price and service assessment and service agreement confirmation.
Monitor budget and cost control in terms of imports/exports, transportations, and logistics planning within the facility.
In charge of packaging design planning and evaluation associated for direct material and sales products.
In charge of direct materials’ layout and placement design in warehouse to support pull production.
In charge of designing direct materials’ distribution plan in production area in terms of distribution route, distribution tools and replenishment method to support pull production.
Data governance for Plan for Every Parts (PFEP), this may include but not limited to materials’ basic data, packaging, transportation, storage, distribution and replenishment data’s creation and updates.
In charge of workshop cart management, this may include but not limited to cart design, evaluation, purchasing support and maintenance.
Support on various quality audits (CPS/CQMS/ISO9000) in terms of logistics relevant documents update and maintenance.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Education & Experience:
- College or university degree related to Supply Chain, or equivalent experience, is required.
- Three years above experiences in Supply Chain / Logistics or Transportation Management is preferred
Competencies & Skills:
- Familiar with imports/exports related rules and regulations.
- The ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.
- The ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.
- Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, organization and communication skills
- Basic knowledge of 6 Sigma project management principles is preferred.
- Good command of English in both reading and writing.
Certificates/License:
- CET 4 Certified.
- Logistics Engineer certified preferred.
