Job Description

Trade Compliance - Export Control

• Collaborate the implementation of export compliance policies to ensure business operations comply with U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR), Chinese Export Control Law, and other applicable regulations;
• Assess the compliance of export transactions and support license applications for the U.S. and other countries;
• Oversee restricted party screening processes to ensure timely updates and accurate execution.
• Participate in the development and maintenance of China’s Export Control Internal Compliance Program (ICP), and assist with China export license applications;
• Deliver training sessions to enhance employees’ understanding of export control requirements;
• Coordinate cross-departmental collaboration to support compliance needs of Sales, Procurement, Logistics, and other teams;
• Lead and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, learning, and shared accountability;
• Work with the global export control team to ensure China’s export compliance practices align with global policies and drive continuous improvement in compliance operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in International Trade, Law, Supply Chain, or related fields;
• Minimum 5 years of experience in export compliance or international trade;
• Strong knowledge of Chinese export control regulations and U.S. EAR;
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Mandarin;
• Strong cross-cultural communication, willingness to learn and project coordination skills

Additional Details

This job has a full time weekly schedule. It includes the option to work remotely.
