Key Responsibilities
- Execute daily import/export customs clearance for chemical raw materials & finished products, including document preparation, freight forwarder coordination, and shipment tracking.
- Maintain and file customs records, ensure accurate data entry into the system.
- Assist in logistics cost verification.
- Support Finance with customs declaration copies and duty accrual data collection.
- Update and maintain basic product HS codes and declaration requirements.
- Coordinate cross-departmental communication internally, and manage and evaluate external freight forwarding suppliers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or above with 1-3 years of import/export customs operations experience ; basic knowledge of customs and CIQ policies;
- Experience in chemical product import/export is preferred; IMDG certification or IATA certification is a plus.
- Familiarity with SAP system is advantageous.
- Good English communication skills with strong stress resistance, adaptability, organizational and communication abilities; highly responsible.
- Willing to travel as needed for customs/CIQ documentation procedures and on-site inspections.
