Alibaba account FAE
Field account engineer is a technical expert and interface who supports the account sales by providing engineering knowledge, product expertise, and technical solutions to Alibaba customer. Ensure that Solidigm’s products and technologies are successfully adopted and integrated into the customer’s environment.
Key responsibilities:
This is a commissioned technical sales position.
Responsible for giving product presentations to the customer describing how Solidigm products provide the optimum solution to their application.
Develop clear understanding of Solidigm's business practices including Roadmap, features, new technology adoption, BKMs.
During customer's product design, responsible for design assistance including on-site visits to review designs, examine customer problems and provide suggestions on optimal ways to use Solidigm products.
Manage relationships between Solidigm and customers by establishing relationships with key individuals at accounts. Identify and develop new opportunities within accounts. Give product demonstrations and execute benchmarks to show product capabilities and ease of use. Understand competitor's strengths and weaknesses relative to the appropriate technical strategy. Communicate strategies to appropriate field and headquarter personnel to obtain required support and coordination.
Assist the customer throughout the development cycle to ensure successful completion of the product. Provide timely feedback to support teams on product and strategy issues to ensure the Solidigm is capable of responding to and/or anticipating changes needed to maintain success. Provide training and account strategy support for distributors.
Assist the post sales with troubleshooting, debugging, and optimization, ensure successful deployment and smooth operation of products, provide feedback to R&D/product teams on customer issues.
Deliver training to customers and partners.
Qualifications
Required:
- Technical pre-sales experience in semi-conductor industry or OEM/ODM companies.
- Experienced in supporting CSP customers, understand the CSP customer application architecture, SSD usage model.
- Familiar with data center SSD technology, with hands on experience.
- Good communication skills and great team worker, coordinating customer multi technical departments, ODM engineer teams, as well as Solidigm internal functional divisions.
- Sales goal driven, strong sense on revenue generating, winning against competition.
- Fluent English speaking & writing skill, willing to travel.
Preferred:
- 10+ years pre-sales experience in SSD related presales job role.
- Experienced in supporting TABB customers.
