Position Overview:
As HR Associate, you'll be at the heart of the action in our fast-growing APAC People team. This role will be essential in helping grow and shape the team. You'll report directly to the Senior Manager, People APAC for the APAC region and work closely with them on a variety of HR daily operations.
You will playing an essential part in enhancing the employee experience across the employee lifecycle from onboarding and engagement to systems and programs. In this fast-paced, dynamic environment, you'll take on a wide variety of responsibilities and have the opportunity to create and implement processes , shaping the foundation of our APAC HR operations as we grow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Onboarding Experience: Design and roll out a structured, engaging, and regionally relevant onboarding program for new hires, in close collaboration with the People Experience (PX) team. Leverage global onboarding frameworks while customizing the experience to meet the unique needs of the APAC region. Act as the first point of contact for new hires and interns during their onboarding journey.
- HR Systems and Data Management: Coordinate HR systems used in the APAC region, ensuring employee data is accurate and up to date through regular reporting. Provide first-hand support by understanding system functions and answering employee questions. Collaborate with the Global HR Program Manager to maintain alignment with global standards while adapting processes to regional needs
- Employee Relations and HR Advisory: Act as a trusted first point of contact for employee questions across topics such as policies, onboarding, benefits, employment contracts, and general HR matters. Provide first-line advice and escalate complex or sensitive employee relations issues to the HRBP when necessary. Collaborate closely with external partners for payroll administration, employment contract management, and compliance support, ensuring smooth and accurate handling of employment documentation and queries.
- Process Improvement and Change Initiatives: Proactively identify areas where HR processes can be made more efficient, scalable, or employee centric. Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring all processes are designed to meet both global standards and regional realities.
- Operational HR Support: Provide essential day-to-day HR administration support, including generating contracts, employment letters, onboarding documents, and coordinating employee programs and lifecycle activities. Ensure smooth execution of operational HR tasks in a growing and dynamic environment. Including but not limited to:
- Administrate employee personnel file
- Handle basic employee queries / requests regarding HR process and policy according to employee handbook and company policy
- Facilitate employee probation review and contract renewal and dismissals process
- Provide required employee data to C&B Associate timely
- Support employee personal government related documents application / renewal (Hukou, work permit, etc.)
- Global Engagement Survey Support: Support the rollout of the Global Engagement Survey within the APAC region, working in alignment with the People Experience (PX) team. Analyze APAC-specific survey results, extract insights, and collaborate with regional managers to create targeted action plans that address local feedback.
- Foster company culture by supporting related employee activities
- Other tasks assigned by Line Manager
Education and Requirements:
- Dependable and able to be comfortable with a high degree of confidentiality, integrity, and a sense of urgency with sensitive issues.
- Ability to thrive dealing with ambiguity and juggling competing priorities.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrates accuracy and attention to detail of own work, update stakeholders and ensure standards for accuracy and details.
- Adapt to changing business needs and shift priorities while remaining calm and composed.
- Consistently and positively contribute in a high-paced, changing work environment prioritizing multiple functions and tasks, and managing time efficiently.
- Proficient oral English, good communication and interpersonal skills;
- Be familiar with Office Software Word, Excel, Power Point;
- Be familiar with HR system such as SAP/Workday/SuccessFactors;
- Self-driving awareness, integrity values
- Around 5 years & above HR experience;
