For our Cybersecurity team, we are looking for Head of Cyber of LCB (CCSO) to help us drive business within Siemens and beyond. We are a highly motivated team and excited to get to know you.

You’ll make an impact by

• Provide strategic leadership for Siemens Cybersecurity operations in China, guiding the overall direction and alignment with organizational objectives.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Division CEO, Region CEO, Business managed IT/OT, Region managed IT/OT, Product and R&D responsible, Division Head of Strategy, Region Head of Strategy, Division Chief Technology Officer, and Region Chief Technology Officer to align cybersecurity efforts with business goals.
• Execute cybersecurity governance, including refinement and tracking of cybersecurity controls to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
• Contributes to the development and update of cybersecurity policies, procedures, and guidelines for regions and divisions.
• Manage the cybersecurity service and governance framework, ensuring its proper functioning and alignment with business needs covering IT, OT, product and solutions
• Proactively shapes cyber regulations and navigates geopolitical complexities to secure the digital ecosystem
• Empowers digital transformation by pioneering innovative platform solutions that address customer needs
• Drive the development of Siemens China cybersecurity ecosystem incl. authorities, standardization bodies, institutions, customers and peers, etc. Assess cybersecurity risks across regions and divisions, develop and implement mitigation strategies to minimize potential impacts.
• Manage a team of approximately 5-50 employees, overseeing their work, providing guidance, and fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Drive the implementation and adoption of cybersecurity solutions across relevant regions and divisions, ensuring their effective usage.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all cybersecurity-related issues, providing timely responses and solutions.
• Monitor and report on the effectiveness of cybersecurity measures, identifying areas for improvement and taking corrective actions as needed.
• Engage with external suppliers and partners to ensure their cybersecurity practices meet the organization's requirements and standards.
• Collaborate with global cybersecurity leadership to align strategies, share best practices, and ensure consistent cybersecurity standards across the organization.
• Exercise oversight of external cybersecurity business development, identifying and pursuing opportunities to expand business in this area.
• Ensure the continuation of successful initiatives such as CDC Suzhou and the Siemens China Cyber Ecosystem, maintaining their momentum and effectiveness.
• Participate actively in the cybersecurity community through boards, professional networks, and industry events to stay updated on trends and best practices.

Your defining qualities

• Over 5 years of experience in cybersecurity within IT/OT & PSS, with a track record in functional leadership in matrix organizations.
• Background in Computer Science or Business Information Technology (preferably with a cybersecurity focus), knowledge of ISO270001 and IEC 62443, and certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA.

• Advanced skill in applying cybersecurity technologies, architecture, and design, with proficiency in protective technology, data security, application security, and identity & access management within IT/OT infrastructure and related products/services.
• Expert-level skill in understanding Siemens' IT/OT infrastructure, product/service landscape, and associated cybersecurity risks.
• Expert skill in communication, with the ability to interact effectively in diverse situations and with various personalities, and strong presentation skills to convey messages clearly to internal and external audiences.
• Advanced skill in facilitating group discussions, promoting teamwork, managing conflicts, and navigating cultural differences.
• Expert-level skill in business English, capable of handling all business communication scenarios including meetings, calls, and written correspondence.
• Advanced skill in strategic thinking, analytical problem-solving, organizing complex tasks, planning with challenging timelines, managing change, providing consulting, and negotiating in complex business environments.
• Expert skill in assessing cyber risks and threat landscapes, with advanced capabilities in vulnerability management and responding to/analyzing cybersecurity incidents.
• Strong leadership skills in decision-making, executing plans, driving results, focusing on customer needs, and building networks and partnerships.
