Overview
Join our dynamic RF Design and cross-functional teams as a dedicated Electronics Technician, pivotal in driving hardware innovation through precise PCB rework, assembly, and maintenance for the research lab. In this role, you'll contribute to the development and refinement of cutting-edge consumer electronics products, including wearables, ensuring top-tier quality and safety within our R&D lab environment.
Responsibilities
- Execute meticulous PCB rework and assembly of consumer electronics , including fine-pitch and BGA components.
- Build and maintain equipment test racks critical to product development and validation.
- Disassemble and reassemble electronic devices with precision, ensuring integrity and functionality.
- Maintain lab safety and cleanliness, adhering to ESD and equipment safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with engineering teams, interpreting schematics, layouts, and other technical documents to deliver optimal solutions.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years' technician experience in an R&D lab environment, specializing in fine-pitch (0402, 0201) soldering and PCB rework.
- Proficient in using hot air rework stations, microscopes, soldering, and desoldering stations.
- Strong capability to understand electrical engineering drawings and follow complex instructions.
- Adept at using power tools such as Dremel tools and electronic screwdrivers for electronic device reassembly.
- Possess an associate degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent technical program.
Preferred Qualifications
- Extensive experience with BGA, 01005 components, and RF pigtail reworks is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision while excelling in team collaboration.
