As the Grow Partner China and APAC, your primary role is to ensure that Straumann's L&D efforts are effective, efficient, and aligned with the overall business goals, by planning, organizing and managing the various aspects of training programs and initiatives for China and Asia Pacific region.
Key responsibilities:
Strategic L&D/TM - China
- Understand the Company’s GO-5 Strategy and the skill-gaps for today and tomorrow.
- Understand and identify learning & development needs and make recommendations.
- Drive organizational development, culture transformation to enable the growth ambition in China.
- Localize global engagement programs and act as a culture ambassador.
- Drive the annual talent review process (data collection, calibration and follow-up) and support change management for new talent frameworks or systems.
- Partner with HRBPs to facilitate development plans for key talent.
- Provide data-driven insights on talent gaps and development needs.
- Staying current with industry developments and trends in learning and development.
- Responsible to deliver the following learning intervention, including
- Leadership & Coaching
- Culture programs; bring our culture alive, player-learner, I-WE, choose inclusion
- Team effectiveness interventions: HPT
- Other soft-skill interventions identified and training on learning/talent systems
L&D Operations - APAC:
- Collaborate with APAC L&D Manager to manage training budget in China and in APAC
- Analysing data to support the assessment of training programs effectiveness and identifying areas for process improvement.
- Generating reports and analytics via weLearn to measure the effectiveness of training programs and ensure regular evaluation of learning outcomes.
- Organizing and coordinating training sessions, uploading and maintaining training materials, handouts, presentations, and online resources.
weLearn Lead - APAC
- Be part of global weLearn community for new developments and best practices in e-learning.
- Assessing and recommending new features or functionality for the LMS to meet the organization's evolving training needs.
- Creating and managing online training courses in weLearn.
- Managing user accounts and permissions to ensure that only authorized employees have access to the LMS and its resources.
Other ad hoc tasks per request.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, or a related field is often required or preferred.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Great attention to details and ability to maintain accurate records and reports
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple training sessions and initiatives simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written to effectively interact with employees, managers and external partners.
- Experience with learning management systems and other training technologies.
- Digital savvy and strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills to assess the training operation efficiency and make recommendations for improvements.
- Experience with budget management and cost-saving strategies is preferred
- Experience in training coordination or administration is also preferred.
