Be part of a team that designs, develops and integrates embedded linux applications as core components of Resideo's CoreOS Platform that will be utilized in latest in home automation IOT devices for Comfort and Security products. You will use your experience and technical skills to design and implement features targeted for the North American and European residential markets. You will partner with world class engineers and leaders. Use your strategic thinking to help anticipate problems, recognize and eliminate barriers.
JOB DUTIES:
- Review marketing requirement and clarify all the issues.
- Analysis the risks of marketing requirement and verify the risks in the POC.
- Detail design for the features/modules.
- Feature development and integration on time and quality.
- Key issue support, including field issues, factory issues etc.
- Follow the design, development, and release process of firmware.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and optimize the system design.
- Take active part in innovation development, including idea analysis, feasibility study, development, and demo.
- Work with quality team to ensure product delivery quality.
- Cooperate with automation test engineer to verify the quality in the stress test.
YOU MUST HAVE:
- 3+ years working experience in firmware design and development or 1+ years as Master degree.
- 3+ years working experience in C language.

- Experienced with RTOS Application development.
- Familiar with SPI, UART, I2C port….
- Knowledge one of ZigBee, Wi-Fi, Z-Wave, Bluetooth, LTE….
- Familiar with cyber security design and development.
- Good problem-solving skills and quickly respond to system-level failures.
- Experienced in software unit test and functional test and automation test.
- Good communication and coordination skill.
- English oral communication with global team.
- Positive team spirit, open mind, and fast learning capability
- Familiar with Scrum/Agile software development process
- Familiar with Devops, Jira, Git…
