About the Role
We’re looking for a Financial Analyst with 2–4 years of experience to join our finance team and help drive smarter business decisions. This role is ideal for someone who’s analytical, detail-oriented, and passionate about turning data into actionable insights. You’ll be responsible for analyzing financial performance, supporting strategic planning, and optimizing financial processes through advanced Excel skills and sound financial acumen.
Location: Onsite in Shenzhen
Timings:
10AM - 7PM Shenzhen time.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret data, identify trends, and generate insights to support budgeting, forecasting, and business strategy.
- Prepare and present detailed financial reports including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Build and maintain models to assess performance, evaluate investment opportunities, and support long-term planning.
- Assist in the planning process, monitor actuals vs. budget, and provide regular financial forecasts.
- Investigate deviations, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
- Monitor expenses and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Use advanced Excel functions (pivot tables, lookup functions, dynamic dashboards) to streamline reporting and analysis.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor's or Master’s in Finance, Accounting, or a related field / Qualified ACCA
- 2–4 years of proven experience in a financial analysis role
- Expertise in Microsoft Excel (complex formulas, pivot tables, charts, dashboards, etc.)
- Strong grasp of financial statements, principles, and modeling techniques
- Detail-oriented with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Self-motivated and proactive with a collaborative mindset
- Familiarity with bookkeeping software like QuickBooks or Xero
- Knowledge of Power BI is a strong plus
