Introduction:

We are seeking a Field Service Associate in Beijing, China to support our Airline/MRO customers and internal stakeholders at the Boeing Field Service Base at Beijing Capital Airport.

Position Overview:

• Performs planning, coordination and organization of Boeing focal and field personnel based on an understanding of customer needs.

• Coordinates field operation assignment procedures, training and orientation to ensure on-site personnel meet customer needs.

• Provides guidance regarding local language, culture and customs to Boeing personnel.

• Maintains local Boeing base presence.

• Provides specialized on-the-job training to Customer regarding Boeing resources.

• Researches information to assist customers in resolving moderately complex operation issues.

• Assists management in negotiating cost, coordinating and organizing special events.

• Monitors and reports customer information to support marketing and sales.

• Processes payments and expense reports for Boeing travelers.

• Arranges travel reservations and coordination with Boeing Travel in supporting Boeing travelers.

• Manages office facility coordinating with Boeing International Enterprise Services.

• Manages customer contacts and detailed customer knowledge.

• Maintains office manuals and ensures procedures implementation.

• Works under general direction.

• Performs operations management and compliance, Business Support services and traveler assistance for multiple delegated business activities such as Enterprise Services, Site Services, Finance & Business, Security & Fire Protection and Supplier Management.

• Performs facility operations and assists with non-real-property planning and project administration, and facilities provisioning.

• Coordinates office and property accounting, invoicing, cost analysis, tax or other business objectives through collecting, processing and distributing cost or financial data.

• Implements organization policies, programs, processes and procedures for the purpose of safeguarding people, property, information and the environment while ensuring compliance with applicable government and company security and fire regulations (e.g., business preparedness, country evacuation planning and crisis management, secure badge renewals).

• Supports procurement agents at local site in negotiating vendor costs and in coordinating and organizing activities.

Basic Qualifications:

• High business level English language (speaking, listening, writing, reading), including an ability to influence others and understand/explain topics of moderate to heavy complexity.

• Proficient in English and Mandarin, both spoken and written. Possess strong English and Mandarin communication skills and use these skills to engage internal and external customers with Boeing support organizations.

• High level cross-cultural awareness and management.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Basic understanding of database and Information Management systems.

• Experience with SAP/ORACLE/Salesforce systems.

• Experience working with a multinational company.

• Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, SharePoint).

• Good communication skills and customer service experience.

• Willing to learn and able to work with minimal supervision.

• Values integrity and encourages positive team dynamics.

Location:

The selected candidate will be required to work on-site (with some flex) at Boeing’s Field Service Beijing Capital Airport office.

Other Job-related Information:

• This requisition is for an international, locally hired position.

• There is no expatriate package associated with this position.

• Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S.-based payroll.

• Relocation benefits if indicated are limited to in-country moves and are not available for overseas relocation.
