To develop/support new and existing products that meet or exceed customer expectations. Support all projects in development to generate revenue and growth for Business Unit.
What You Will Do
With guidance from Sr. Engineers and manager, develop new designs for optical components and manage product extensions, including fixture and jig for production line.
Provide technical support to customers, suppliers and internal personnel.
Coordinate product activities with engineering, manufacturing, purchasing and quality teams using engineering change request (ECR) procedures.
Upload 2D/3D drawings to PDM, Agile and SVN systems.
Understand, support and contribute to current International Standards Organization (ISO) and Environmental, and/or Health and Safety (EH&S) Management Systems by following stated policies and procedures.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Design experience in mechanical products for optical telecommunication such as optical components and passive or active modules.
- Design experience with assembly line fixture and jig
- Proficient in SolidWorks, DraftSight/AutoCAD and general office software
- Well versed in GD&T to fully convey design intent with deep understanding of manufacturing and inspection impacts;
- Familiar with mechanical design and general telecommunication standards
What Will Put You Ahead
- English CET 6 or above, or equivalent. Proficient in reading and writing.
- Adequate in verbal communication
