Role Summary and Impact
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director to lead media insights and analytics efforts dedicated to our prestigious client, Richemont. You will be responsible for delivering actionable, data-driven audience intelligence derived from China's dynamic data ecosystems (Red, WeChat, Douyin, etc.). You will leverage our proprietary data platform and advanced analytics solutions to uncover key consumer insights, translate those insights into compelling narratives, and present them effectively to the client. This role serves as the primary subject matter expert and point of contact for all data and analytics-related matters for the Richemont account. You will co-work with data product team of two analysts, also performance media team, and providing guidance, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, impactful insights.
Key Responsibilities:
Audience Intelligence & Analytics:
  • Lead the development and execution of data-driven audience intelligence strategies leveraging China's key digital platforms (Red, WeChat, Douyin, etc.).
  • Utilize our data platform and advanced analytics techniques (e.g., segmentation, predictive modeling, trend analysis) to identify key consumer segments, behaviors, and preferences.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve data collection, analysis, and reporting processes.
Storytelling & Client Presentation:
  • Translate complex data findings into clear, concise, and compelling narratives for client presentations.
  • Develop visually engaging and impactful PowerPoint presentations that effectively communicate key insights and recommendations.
  • Present findings and recommendations to clients in a confident and persuasive manner.
Client Engagement & Relationship Management:
  • Serve as the primary subject matter expert and point of contact for all data and analytics-related inquiries from the Richemont client.
  • Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key client stakeholders.
  • Proactively communicate insights, updates, and recommendations to the client.
  • Understand the client's business objectives and challenges, and develop data-driven solutions to address them.
Data Solution & Innovation:
  • Contribute to the development of data strategies and roadmaps for the Richemont account.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in data analytics and audience intelligence.
  • Identify and evaluate new data sources and analytical techniques.
  • Drive innovation in data-driven solutions for the client.
Measures of Success:
Within 3 Months:
  • Develop a strong understanding of Richemont's business objectives, brands, and target audiences.
  • Establish key relationships with client stakeholders and internal teams.
  • Deliver initial insights and recommendations based on available data.
Within 6 Months:
  • Lead the development and execution of data-driven audience intelligence strategies.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve data collection and analysis processes.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of China's digital landscape and data ecosystems.
Within 12 Months:
  • Become a trusted advisor to the client on all data and analytics-related matters.
  • Drive measurable improvements in client performance through data-driven insights.
  • Lead the development of innovative data solutions for the Richemont account.

What You'll Need:
  • Deep experience in data analytics, audience intelligence, or a related field, with a focus on the Chinese market.
  • Experience in luxury retail or a related industry is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to translate complex data findings into clear, concise, and compelling narratives.
  • Strong client management skills and experience in building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of China's digital landscape and data ecosystems (Red, WeChat, Douyin, etc.).
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis techniques, including segmentation, predictive modeling, and trend analysis.
  • Fluency in English and Chinese.
