- With a strong presence in China, we are seeking an HR Leader to drive cultural advancement, talent development, and organizational transformation within our dynamic and challenging market.
- Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources and based out of our Shanghai site, this Human Resources Director will lead all HR functions in the country for Molex's CCS division. This region includes 2 Molex's key locations (one in Shanghai and one in Kunshan), with approximately 1200 employees. This leader will directly oversee a team of 10 employees.
- As the HR Leader for Molex CCS in China, this individual will play a crucial role in transforming our HR operations and driving the cultural evolution of our organization. This Director will lead a team of dedicated HR professionals and collaborate closely with the senior leadership team to optimize our talent strategies and facilitate organizational change management initiatives.
What You Will Do
- Leadership and Team Development: Lead and coach a team of HR professionals including HR business partners, talent development and communication specialist. Develop capabilities and challenge them to provide exceptional partnership support to local leaders.
- HR Business Partnership: Oversee the HR business partnership team, consisting of HR business partners assigned to each business. Provide guidance on culture advancement, supervisor development, talent strategies, and legal/compliance matters.
- Cultural Stewardship: Act as a steward of our company culture and Principle-Based Management (PBM) principles. Mentor and coach the HR business partnership team to advance our culture within the region.
- Talent Strategy and Development: Drive talent strategy initiatives, in partnership with the business, to identify and develop our current and future capabilities, as well as leaders across the organization.
- Organizational Optimization: Partner with the business to optimize the organization's structure, develop change management strategies, and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Influential Leadership: Build and nurture relationships across all levels of the organization, including the CCS divisional leadership team, CCS HR Lead team and HR capability groups such as HR Services, Total rewards, HR compliance, legal, and recruiting. Influence key decision-makers to drive change for transformational initiatives.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Progressive HR experience with a focus on leadership, culture, talent development, and change management. Proven experience leading teams through transformational change is essential.
- Strong leadership and coaching skills with a track record of developing high-performing teams and cultivating talent.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with senior leaders and influence decision- making. Strong relationship-building skills to drive change across diverse teams.
- Experience in leading organizational change initiatives, particularly in complex and matrix environments.
- In-depth understanding of local culture and business practices, enabling effective communication and collaboration.
- Fluency in both Mandarin and English is required.
- Experience in a manufacturing setting is desirable, but the ability to drive transformative change is of primary importance.
