SUMMARY
Lead Kids2’s e-commerce growth and digital transformation in China. Develop and execute data-driven strategies across Tmall, JD, Douyin, Xiaohongshu, and emerging platforms to drive market share, revenue, and brand equity. Bridge global brand standards with hyper-localized execution, optimizing end-to-end operations from merchandising to supply chain. Build and lead high-performing teams to achieve sustainable competitive advantage in China’s dynamic digital landscape.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Strategic Leadership & Business Growth
- Develop 3–5-year China e-commerce roadmap aligned with global goals (revenue, GMV, profitability).
- Negotiate platform partnerships (Tmall/JD/Douyin), lead pricing/promotion strategies, and identify whitespace opportunities.
- Mitigate ASP erosion through differentiated assortments, bundling, and premiumization.
- Establish China "Best Practices" for scalability across global markets.
2. Platform Operations & Digital Marketing
- Own end-to-end platform management: SEO, content optimization, livestreaming, KOL campaigns, and conversion rate growth.
- Localize global campaigns and product launches for Chinese consumers.
- Monitor competitors, consumer trends, and platform algorithm changes to adapt strategies.
- Manage Third-Party Service Providers (TPs/ISVs) and logistics partners.
3. Data, Analytics & Technology
- Leverage analytics tools (Alibaba Databank, Google Analytics, Power BI) to optimize UX, retention, and ROI.
- Pilot AI/tech innovations (e.g., personalized recommendations, social commerce tools).
- Deliver quarterly performance reports with actionable insights for global stakeholders.
4. Team Building & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Build and mentor China e-commerce team (operations, marketing, content).
- Collaborate with global teams (product, supply chain, IT) to align local execution with brand standards.
- Manage P&L, budgets, and resource allocation.
5. Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure adherence to local regulations (Advertising Law, PIPL data privacy, platform policies).
- Develop contingency plans for market volatility and platform rule changes.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in e-commerce or digital sales, preferably within the consumer-packaged goods, baby products, or related industries
- Proven success managing China e-commerce platforms and digital channel performance
- Experience working in a multinational or global brand environment is highly preferred
- Strong familiarity with China’s digital ecosystem, consumer habits, and regulatory nuances
- Certifications in digital marketing or e-commerce analytics are a plus
- Proven success in baby/CPG/FMCG industries;
EDUCATION & SKILLS
- Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or related field
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Fluent in Mandarin and English
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Proficiency in digital performance tools, campaign tracking, and content optimization
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
- None required, though relevant e-commerce platform certifications or digital marketing credentials are preferred
COMPUTER/TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Strong working knowledge of China e-commerce platforms (Tmall, JD, etc.)
- Familiar with data and performance analytics tools such as Alibaba Databank, Salesforce Commerce, and Google Analytics
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite—Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
