Global Procurement Powertrain is responsible for all procurement activities in Powertrain module, including leading cross functional category teams, negotiations and contract management, local content supplier development, development of end-2-end cost out initiatives, category strategy development and supplier relationship management
Responsibilities
- Continuous Cost Out.
- Identifying cost out opportunities throughout the full value chain and with priority on optimize/streamline the manufacturing process by engaging suppliers, Should Cost, SQE and R&D.
- Working closely with Sourcing to cost out initiatives.
- Support Sourcing in quality related tasks.
- Represent Sourcing in the working group as a bridge between procurement and stakeholders
- Align with stakeholders both internally and externally and finish tasks under scope
- Support Sourcing Responsible in commercial negotiations realting to cost recovery caused by quality issues
- Support global sourcing on procurement related tasks at local level.
Qalifications
- Degree in engineering areas or equivalent
- Above 8 years working experience in procurement area
- Fluent English
Competencies
- In depth knowledge and experience in production process streamline. Capable of identifying and implementing process optimization opportunities.
- Experienced in project management
- Stakeholder management skills: engage, transparent, respectfully when needed
- Data and facts driven
- Communication with clarity
- Commercial awareness
