Commercial Excellence Manager at Nutreco China

We are looking for a Commercial Excellence Manager to join our team in China. This role will drive standardization of business processes (sales handbook/KAM/distribution), enhance team capabilities through training, and implement transparent sales performance tracking.
Responsibilities:
1. Drive implementation of commercial strategies:
- Map sales capabilities, identify training needs.
- Develop sales handbook; train 200+ sales via direct sessions and TTT.
- Assist GM and Commercial Directors in implementing/enhancing KAM and distribution processes.
3. Champion sales techniques (e.g., SPIN, FAB) and drive continuous improvement.
4. Develop performance indexes for transparent tracking of sales progress, results, and improvement areas.
Skills and Expertise
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s/Master’s in Economics, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
2. 3–5 years in commercial excellence or similar roles (e.g., Marketing, Sales, Commercial Operations).
3. Strong Mandarin and English verbal/written communication and presentation skills.
4. Excellent interpersonal and customer relations skills.
5. Ability to conduct effective gap analysis identifying critical organizational performance gaps.
6. Ability to work independently while fostering teamwork; orchestrating cross-functional collaboration with urgency to deliver customer value and share insights.
7. Solid understanding of how marketing/sales impact financial results.
8. CRM (Microsoft Dynamics 365) and PowerBI experience preferred.
9. Proven skills in cross-functional/multinational team collaboration and implementing processes/systems/change in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
10. Ability to travel.
11. Hands-on, results-oriented, innovative thinker ("think and act out of the box").
