Clothing Design Technologist (Shanghai)
The mission of this role is to control the production of the product at the stages of sample approval for the successful launch and release of a batch of finished products, taking into account the fulfillment of the production calendar deadlines.
What you will be doing
- Checking the quality of sample production before sending it to the Moscow office (checking according to the KTD, measuring according to the TM, drawing up the Measurement Report in C8)
- Returning samples that did not pass inspection to the factory for re-sewing, with the preparation of a review in C8
- Checking repeated PPO and confirming the launch of production, with the preparation of reviews in C8
- Consulting the factory on the production of samples based on the KTD from the development department
- Communication with technologists and designers of the technical development department in the Moscow office
What we want to see in a candidate
Knowledge of Russian and English is required
- Experience in industrial clothing manufacturing companies for at least 3 years
- Knowledge of regulatory and technical documents in clothing production, industrial equipment, fundamentals of materials science and production technology
- Ability to read process flow diagrams
- English from level A2+ (Intermediate)
- Readiness for business trips (infrequent) around the country / to the Moscow office
- Self-organization skills, readiness to take responsibility, make decisions independently
- Attention to detail
- Communication skills
