Job description
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Associate Manager to join our team at Stryker. As the Associate Manager of Custom Implant, you will be responsible for leading a cross-functional team, managing subordinates, and ensuring the successful execution of projects within the defined product category. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented professional with a background in mechanical or biomedical engineering and a strong passion for the medical device industry.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a diverse team of professionals, providing guidance and support to drive high-quality results
- Manage and optimize workflow, aligning processes with global teams to enhance efficiency
- Supervise project teams and collaborate with global design teams to address design issues and improve processes
- Serve as the point of contact for local processes and the defined product category
- Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders and operational partners to meet customer needs
- Oversee and execute Engineering Change Requests (ERCs), Non-Conformances (NCs), and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a science discipline, preferably in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering
- 5-10 years of experience in the medical device or related industry, with a focus on people management
- Proven ability to achieve work objectives independently and as a leader/mentor of a team
- Track record of successfully leading complex initiatives from concept to release
- Familiarity with processes applied within a regulated industry and understanding of GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices)
- Strong sense of responsibility and a drive to deliver an exceptional customer experience

- Ability to integrate and synthesize technical or business knowledge across disciplines
- Change agent with innovative thought leadership, contributing to long-term strategic direction
