We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director, Software Engineering Specialist
Business: IWPB Technology
- Lead the architectural redesign of the global end-to-end framework — including backend API design, integration and orchestration framework, and frontend infrastructure — to support scalable and efficient future expansion.
- Define a modular and configuration-driven solution framework for faster, low-cost market rollout.
- Collaborate with product and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Build and maintain backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
- Deploy services to AWS cloud with Kubernetes (EKS) and manage production-grade environments.
- Ensure high standards of code quality, performance, and maintainability.
- Integrate DevOps best practices and CI/CD pipelines to streamline delivery and operations.
- Explore AI-enhanced technologies such as intelligent agents and MCP server integration for advanced capabilities.
- Participate in agile ceremonies and foster a culture of iterative delivery and continuous improvement.
- Provide mentorship to junior team members and contribute to engineering standards across the team.
- 10+ years of experience in software development, including backend system design and implementation.
- Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot ecosystem.
- Solid experience in designing scalable APIs and data models for distributed systems.
- Hands-on experience in AWS services and Kubernetes (EKS) for microservice deployment.
- Proven ability to lead technical decisions and deliver robust architecture in a global enterprise context.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD, and infrastructure automation.
- Fluent in English with excellent communication and stakeholder alignment skills.
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in agile teams.
- Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, Git, and container orchestration platforms.
- Experience in financial services, especially financial planning platforms or investment products.
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and experience integrating LLMs or AI agents into enterprise solutions.
- Prior experience working with multi-market platform rollouts or localization strategies.
