About the Role
As an Associate Director, MNC in our Institutional Relationship Team, you will report to the Head of MNC and be responsible for supporting corridor clients from the ANZ network and driving relationship development with targeted clients in line with the bank’s growth strategy. The role focuses on cross-selling activities across different product groups to originate and penetrate client relationships through value-added advisory and services.

What will your day look like?
As an Associate Director, MNC Relationship Manager you will:
Grow the business through product volume, new client acquisition and increasing the number of products held per client.
Develop and implement client strategies in conjunction with product partners and relevant parties to identify the right product and service opportunities.
Proactively developing and maintaining a detailed understanding of your client’s business and financial needs.
Keep abreast of key economic trends impacting the industries and competitive dynamics to inform client conversations and strategy.
Develop effective working relationships with overseas colleagues to deliver seamless services to clients.
Ensure quality of portfolio through sound credit assessment, lending decisions and accurate account management.
Develop tailored client strategies with product partners to identify and execute financial solutions.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to the International Banking strategic agenda.
Provide guidance and support to new team members to foster a collaborative culture.
Identify signs of credit deterioration and initiate early intervention.
Manage compliance tasks including KYC, AML, and regulatory follow-ups with precision and timeliness.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
Extensive experience in a corporate banking environment with a strong network of existing client relationships.
Strong knowledge of financial statements and credit assessment, with a background in sound business lending
Demonstrated understanding of large business needs and expectations.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong computer literacy, and a client-centric approach.
Fluent Mandarin/English speaking, reading and written skills is a must.
Proven ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
Strong problem-solving skills with a network-to-network mindset.
Flexibility to travel nationwide to support client coverage.
