- Develop and maintain strategic relationships and Antenna business at focus VW OEM account.
- Foster deep collaboration across internal teams in China/Germany to provide a superior service experience to assigned customers
- Responsible for new RFQ bidding, quotation and drive the negotiation with BU's support.
- Lead the commercial negotiation with customer including pricing, VAVE, etc...
- Identify customer needs and drive the internal resource to provide appropriate solutions to realize the opportunity.
- Deeply study and understand customer's sales strategy, technology trend, product roadmap, etc. and formulate the appropriate business plan with sales strategy.
- Gather the information of the industry and the competitors, and work with division to kick off new products to increase the market share.
- To manage customer expectations of NPI and ensure product samples, supporting design and product verification activities are delivered to customers in agreed and expected timeframes.
Education
Required Bachelor's Degree
Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical
Work Related Experience
Required:
- 5 or more years' relevant commercial (mechanical or electrical) experience with OEM customers in the automotive industry.
Preferred:
- Experience with a major OEM as a role of sales within the automotive industry.
- Technical understanding of VW JV OEM account, opportunities and needs.
- Electrical product experience will be preferred.
Skills
Required:
- Strong communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
- A self-motivated individual who can successfully manage and prioritize own workload with minimal direct supervision.
- Ability to effectively build strategic customer relationships across a broad span of roles to maximize Molex's ability to win business.
- Strong ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders
- A strong aptitude for understanding electronic systems and the value Molex products bring to the customer.
- Detailed in problem solving and analysis.
Preferred: Sales skills to successfully develop, negotiate and close sales opportunities. Prior usage and knowledge of SAP and/or Salesforce CRM systems.
Solid understanding of automotive connectors, cable assemblies and modules
