Job Description
If you are Testing engineer , looking for an opportunity to grow, Copeland has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in Xi'an, y ou will be responsible for analyzing data for accuracy, reporting any improvements implemented, and noting any effects of modifications to a product. Responsibilities also include documentation of processes and, when faults are discovered, finding ways to make these faults as repeatable as possible, enabling the development team to efficiently find a solution.
AS A TESTING ENGINEER , YOU WILL :
- Work with organization members to audit, identify quality problems, and improve operational processes
- Write, maintain, and disseminate quality manuals and other documentation
- Investigate and diagnose quality complaints, track down components, and recommend corrective actions
- Verify logs, databases, and other data to track and flag quality concerns and improvements.
- Create, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases against our software platforms based on an analysis of requirements, user stories, use cases, and technical design specifications
- Work closely with other team members, business analyst, support team, and software developers to deliver the high-quality products in a timely and cost-effective manner
- Evaluate adequacy of quality assurance standards
- Ensure coverage of the software requirements through traceability
- Recognize areas in need of improvement and solve complex problems related to interconnected software components
- Document internal audits and other quality assurance activities
- Work with software engineers to resolve software bugs and issues
- Analyze data to identify areas for improvement in the quality system
- Successfully monitor and track system defect resolution efforts in a timely manner
- Prepare reports to communicate outcomes of quality activities
- Identify training needs and organize training interventions to meet quality standards
- Monitor risk management activities
- Work with the team leadership to develop test schedules and tasks to deliver high quality products
- Assure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
- Good communication skills – verbal and written
- Strong hands on experience on software product testing and planning
- Good data collection, management and analysis
- Ability to work in fast paced and dynamically changing environment
- Good problem analysis and problem solving
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to communicate with all levels within the organization
- Able to understand basic circuit schematics and PCB layouts.
- Familiar with basic electronic components and their working principles.
- Proficient in using basic electrical measurement tools such as multimeters and oscilloscopes.
- Capable of using soldering tools for component removal and soldering.
