What You Will Do
- Take the ownership for material analysis both for product development, test failure and manufacture.
- Support plant QA team for any quality issue both internal and external complaints.
- Review test projects with customers, confirm the test requirements and objective. Manage project progress. Prepare relevant test resource. Such as equipment, fixture, material, etc.
- Develop new test methods and improve existing process.
- Create work instruction or standard operating procedures (WI/SOP).
- Responsible for training and guiding the testing work of engineers, technicians.
- Check raw record and review test reports, ensure the accuracy of test results.
- Discover improvement opportunities, lead improvement projects.
- Collaborate closely with R&D, product engineering, quality teams, and suppliers to support material qualification, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Document test procedures, results, and technical reports clearly and accurately for internal teams and external stakeholders .
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- University Degree in Material, Chemical, or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent, and above. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Materials Science, Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience working in testing/analysis/quality management/ manufacturing area.
- Master material analysis methods.
- Master material analysis instrument, like SEM, EDX, FTIR, TGA, DSC, MFR, cross section, microscope, etc.
- Adopt a professional attitude towards work and assume full responsibility for any project or tasks assigned.
- Demonstrate good teamwork for overall success.
- Capable to create SOP/WI in both Chinese and English.
- Capable to read 3D/2D drawing.
- Good skills on Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PPT).
- Analytical skills and experience with data analysis/optimization software (e.g., Minitab, Origin).
- Familiarity with polymer processing techniques (e.g., injection Molding, extrusion).
- Knowledge of advanced Engineering polymer materials such as PA66, PPA, PBT, and high-temperature nylons.
