Supplier Quality Engineer
Key Responsibilities
- Lead role conducting and qualifying new Potential suppliers according to business requirements.
- Enhancing supplier development based on Advance Technical Procurement Techniques supporting company strategies and requirements.
- Support and coordinate with Asia plants SQEs, the definition of Supplier annual KPls.
- Support and coordinate with Asia plants SQEs, the annual surveillance audit plans for Suppliers in AMT system.
- Responsible to lead and direct plant SQEs team on the proper execution of the supplier escalation and development system.
- Coordinate technical reviews and assessments at supplier sites.
- Develop supplier capabilities to meet Gestamp and customer requirements
- Conduct Supplier Quality training.
- Support plant to drive performance improvements to the established objectives at Suppliers.
- Coordinate cross functional technical critical problem resolution at Supplier.
- Scope of this position will include supporting other divisions in the group auditing suppliers Located in Asia Region.
- Follows established procedures and best practices.
- Review of work is based on technical judgment, overall adequacy, and accuracy at predefined milestones.
- Implementation, Maintenance, and training of relevant quality systems (FULLSTEP Qlikview, GoSupply, etc) in division.
- Support important project for supplier management as requested.
- Support for related audits, such as customer audits, lATF 16949 audit, TISAX audit • Performs other duties as required
Key Qualifications/Requirements
- lATF 16949 internal auditor certificate
- VDA 6.3 and 6.5 valid certificate
- Core Tools knowledge (SPC, MSA, APQP, VDA-FMEA, PPAP)
- Supplemental automotive AlAG Standards knowledge (CQl-8, CQ1-9, CQ1-12, CQl14, CQ1-15, CQ1-16)
- Strong functional and technical Skills
- Good communication and negotiation skill
- English fluent
- This position requires to travel at least 80% of the time to support plants in Asia
Knowledge and Education
- University Diploma in related discipline or equivalent experience
Work Experience
- 5 plus years of experience
- 3 plus years of Manufacturing or Engineering experience, Automotive industry is preferred
