As a S&T Cadet, you will help our digital team to build a new paradigm of coating research and development through data analysis methods and image recognition technologies, then create innovation breakthroughs in technology research, product development, customer development and factory production, achieve efficiency improvement, and help our digital transformation.
You will report to Regional Technical Director, Data Center and Cadet Program. This will be an on-site job in our innovation center in Tianjin.
Key Responsibilities
- Explore application scenarios of data analysis and image recognition technology in material science and coating R&D
- Develop and optimize diversified task processing capabilities based on data analysis and image recognition to improve R&D efficiency
- Responsible for training, deploying, debugging, and optimizing data analysis tools and image recognition models to address practical application challenges
- Keep abreast of the latest advancements in data analysis and image recognition and continuously improve existing models and algorithms
- Collaborate with global engineers specializing in data analysis and image recognition to strengthen the construction of enterprise digital platforms
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in computer science, artificial intelligence, statistics, or related fields
- Familiar with fundamental principles and technologies of machine learning, deep learning, data analysis, computer vision and image recognition
- Proficient in Python programming, experienced with OpenCV, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and other image processing and deep learning frameworks
- Proficient in various data mining algorithms and their underlying principles; capable of developing prediction models based on business scenarios
- In-depth understanding of convolutional neural networks (CNN), Transformer architectures related to image recognition, and techniques such as object detection, image segmentation, and feature extraction
- At least one practical project experience in data analysis or image recognition, with familiarity in model deployment and optimization techniques
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and proficient English
