Software Quality Engineer
We are seeking an experienced QE Software Engineer to join EA China in Shanghai. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will work onsite to develop quality control tools, test automation, data pipelines, and CI/CD systems. Partnering with Development and QA, you will use various programming and scripting languages to design, build, and maintain automation solutions that ensure the highest product quality.
Role Overview
Lead quality verification process and drive technology improvements for Asia development team.
Develop test automation tool and service and integrate it with CI/CD based on game development work flow.
Work directly with the game Dev team and QA team to ensure requirements are understood and met.
Design and implement reliable, scalable, and maintainable tools/services.
Leverage and improve existing tools/services/solution to add value.
Lead the technical efforts in setup and maintain non-functional test solution/tool/scripts, support the game Dev team in server performance test.
Work with overseas tech team and Quality Engineering team to integrate and develop tools.
Contribute reusable code, tools, and processes to the company's quality strategy.
Qualifications
BS in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent industry experience
A minimum 5+ years professional experience as SDET, experience in software development is a big plus.
Experienced with CI/CD tools.
Knowledge of test automation and/or development process improvements
Ability to code competently in one of languages like C++, C#, Java or Scala
Familiarity with mobile/online game development or extensive experience in server load testing is a big plus.
Experience in AI technology is a big plus.
Demonstrated strong problem solving and innovation skills
Good at communication.
